Faculty
Authors, scholars, teachers. Our faculty represents the best of all worlds.
We write acclaimed books and noteworthy journal articles and are respected enough to be invited to present at national and international conferences. Like you, we’re students — in areas that range from African-American Literature to Classical Studies, from Modern Drama to Medieval Literature. We write novels and poems, lectures and scholarly manuscripts. In all of our research and writing, we constantly ask ourselves how we can bring our knowledge and our passions to the classroom.
We hold the highest degrees from institutions like Harvard, Notre Dame, Brown, and Yale, as well as the universities of North Carolina, Virginia, Michigan, California, and Iowa. We’ve all chosen to be at Providence College because we love the small classes and the opportunity to share our love for literature and creative writing with our students.
We invite you to learn more about us by clicking the links on the left side of this page. Or just walk down the halls in Ruane and stop by to chat about why an English major or minor might be the right choice for you!
